The Decision of the Council of Ministers dated 23/06/2010 and numbered 2010/643 regarding the Environmentally Friendly Design of Energy-Related Products in Turkey was published, and sectoral transformations began according to this decision. From these transformations, according to the "Communiqué on Environmentally Friendly Design Requirements for Welding Equipment" published in the 25/03/2021 and 31434 duplicate issue of the Official Gazette, power supply efficiency, non-functional power consumption and non-functional power consumption for all arc welding machines produced in Turkey. Some definitions have been made on other subjects and standard values to be followed have been determined. MIG500W-YV is a conventional (transformer operating at mains frequency) type MIG/MAG arc welding machine that fully complies with the relevant communiqué.
